Cameras in the Community: Little Jamaica, Toronto

Project Kids & Cameras presents “Cameras in the Community, a photography program series designed for kids ages 8-13. Over the course of 6 workshop sessions, young participants will work closely with Diana Nazareth, professional photographer and founder of Project Kids & Cameras. They will be guided and encouraged to explore their community as young documentary photographers. They will brainstorm and agree on a photo theme that captures the people, places and things they believe are representative of their community. They will learn about photo storytelling through various fun, hands-on photo activities and assignments and while also examining the work of iconic photographers of all genres. They will make and print their own photos throughout the program, and will learn how to curate a photo exhibit showcasing their work in the library’s gallery space!

To register your child for this free City of Toronto Cultural Hotspot 2022 program, please email Diana at info@projectkidsandcameras.com
