Cameras in the Library: Free Photography Program for Kids Ages 8-12
We're happy to announce that will be running our Cameras in the Library after school program at the Oakwood Village Library & Arts Centre, from May 22-June 19.
The program is free and open to kids ages 8-12

About our Cameras in the Library Program: Cameras in the Library, a super fun, immersive and experiential introduction to digital photography, the history of photography and an exploration of iconic 20th century photographers. Over a course of 8 workshop sessions, participants ages 8-12 will work closely with Diana Nazareth, professional photographer and founder of Project Kids & Cameras, and Kelly Lui, assistant instructor and videographer. They will brainstorm on a photo theme that will encourage them to explore the people and places in their community, take and print their own photos in workshop, and learn how to curate a photo exhibit showcasing their work in the library’s gallery space.
